A mother holds a baby high above her head, as an offering to life. The baby is the beginning of a new life, a starting point of a long term relationship of parenthood. She probably holds big expectations, wishes him all the best. The scene is depicted with a natural point of view, very intimate and joyful. A very sculptural piece, it takes the chance to represent a femenine body bare of any adornment, as a synthesis of the pure meaning of the scene. White matte porcelain to enhance the modeling and sculpting features. Set on a square wooden base in natural colour.
