Both scenes built around the tree are sweet, calmed and idyllical. This piece and its couple The tree of Adventures (item 01008446) are different from other children figurines in the sense that they present a more complex scene. Both are centered on similar trees, probably placed in the same park where pre-teens use as playground for their open air games. The girl is growing up and becoming a young lady. As such, she has turned romantic and feels herself in ease with her thoughts and inner fantasy.
