A new introduction in the series depicting different professions, following previously figurines of two doctors: a man and a woman. On this occasion, the piece depicts a woman holding a lab flask and a pipette. She might well be a pharmacist, a biologist or a chemist, some profession based in a laboratory, further underscored by the typical white overall worn by these professions. It makes a symbol of the arrival of women to the labour force.
