Fairies are inextricably bound up in the very essence of life: they are life itself. This delicate fairy of life pours her prodigious sap of drops of gold over the porcelain thus giving birth to the solid gold stamens of a beautiful brooch apt to accopmany the beauty of any woman. The gold of life has transformed the four primordial elements --Earth, Water, Wind and Fire-- into the four flowers of a symbolic gem.
