Lladró presents the «Coral Colored Realm» themed afternoon tea at Sanya Coral Bay Mandarin Oriental Hotel, the first hotel of Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group on the Chinese mainland.

Guests can enjoy a combination of delectable delicacies, and exquisite tableware that creates an immersive art world that delights both the eyes and taste buds.

Head Chef Lena and her team at the Sunset Bar draw inspiration from the natural elements of Coral Bay and LLADRÓ’s Coral and Chinese Dragon Skin porcelain art collections to create a unique coral paradise, where art and gastronomy merge harmoniously.

Handmade by the best artists in the Lladró workshops in Spain, Coral Centerpiece and Coral Cake Tray interpret corals from two different points of view, combining a realist and a conceptual perspective to create original objects for the home. The twofold treatment gives rise to truly unique and contemporary creations.

Beverages were served on porcelain cups from Koi and Chinese Dragon Skin collections. Koi fish are highly appreciated as a symbol of love and friendship, and they inspire a series of dining table accessories. Characterized with an elegant geometrical decoration inspired by the scales of the koi carp, they are made in white porcelain with a matte finish on the outside and a glazed finish inside.
