LLADRÓ IN THE MAC GALA OF PANAMÁ, THE EVENT HOSTING THE OUTSTANDING ART OF THE COUNTRY

In collaboration with Snob Shop, Lladró’s White Gorilla has been customized by artists from different disciplines, who have put their mark and style on this special piece. They were auctioned during the traditional charity gala of the prestigious Museum of Contemporary Art of Panama.   

As part of the celebration of the 60th anniversary of the MAC, Lladró participated  with Snob Shop in the charity gala, a distinguished and established luxury retail store in Panama that has been recognized as the symbol of style and luxury for more than 30 years.

The eminent artists – Diego Fábrega, Enrique Jaramillo, Genaro Rodríguez, Milko Delgado, Darien Montañez, Maia Alfaro, Andrea Arias, Gabriela Esplá, Momo Magallón, David Bettis, Hugo Gonzalez and Ana Lida – were invited to put their personal artistic signature on exclusive creations, that were auctioned for the benefit of Panamanian art and culture in a gala full of sensations and creativity. 

The Museum of Contemporary Art of Panama has established itself as one of the most important institutions in the country. Since it was founded, the objective has been to promote the cultural development of the Panamanian community. 

The MAC gala was a truly special event where yesterday coexists with today, to create the here and now. Art, gastronomy, music and different shows merged to be the protagonists. A guest list including important artists, clients and members of the MAC had the pleasure of experiencing creativity in a very special building: Distrito Moda y Diseño. The space, the Old French Bazar in earlier times, has nowadays become the epicenter of creativity and modernism in Panama, where past and present intertwined

In recent years, Panama has become an artistic reference in the region, due to the various actions organized by the Museum of Contemporary Art to promote the art and culture of Panama. These efforts aim to promote and celebrate the rich artistic heritage and cultural diversity of Panama, elevating its status as a vibrant hub for art and creativity.
