LLADRÓ AT WOMEN&DESIGN BY MAISON&OBJET
Lladró was part of the Women&Design by Maison&Objet event in New York last 15th May. An exclusive format where leading voices from the specialized press and top-tier interior designers discussed the work of female creatives exploring the intersection of design, innovation, and empowerment.
The special edition took part at The One Club, where an exclusive selection of Lladró porcelain was the starting point to uplift stories and vision of women redefining design around the world.
The Guest celebrates diversity, enriched by the creativity of three artists who have made it their own. Brooklyn-based artist and illustrator Jade Purple Brown, showing her passion for color and female empowerment at her two striking designs. Sculptures that symbolize the evolution of women embracing personal transformation, breaking free from societal constraints, and spreading their wings. Meanwhile, Henn Kim, the first female artist to collaborate on the collection, captures complex emotions in just a few strokes, aiming to provoke thought. Camille Walala, known for her vibrant, distinctive work and her radical illustrations, created her two characters full of contrasts, combining bold, bright colors with intricate patterns.

Among the proposals full of meaning from the Lladró catalog, the Ink Collection pushes the boundaries of porcelain with expressive motifs through abstract form.
The two collaborations with Aleksandra Zeromska, Unusual Friends and Kawki, combine fantasy and a peculiar sense of humor that can be observed from the behaviour of animals, while Raluca Buzura was inspired by the incredible diversity of sea life to create the Actinia jewelry collection.
Adding to the female-led creativity from Lladró, Firefly by Olga Hanono brings her bold, eclectic style. A limited-edition piece that reflects her passion for blending cultural legacy with contemporary design.
The Women & Design event featured the presence of leading creatives in design from the US and was hosted by Nina Magon and Maison&Objet General Director, Mélanie Leroy.
