LLADRÓ CELEBRATES NEW STORE OPENING IN NEW YORK CITY

A series of exclusive events were held in New York last week to mark the opening of the new Lladró concept store in the city, located at 435 W. 14th Street in the bustling Meatpacking District, a site chosen for its prime location in a busy commercial area of the city, known for its rich history, elegant bars, restaurants, galleries, hotels, and boutiques.

Through the diverse scenarios of the store, which showcases the most ground-breaking creative designs and collaborations, guests were encouraged to partake in an immersive experience through multiple senses. The clean lines, geometric shapes and soft colors conceived by Valencia-based interior designer Carmen Baselga Taller de Projectos create a welcoming atmosphere.

Members of the press were invited to a special press breakfast, at which Lladró CEO Ana Rodríguez unveiled the new store concept and gave journalists the opportunity to experience the brand’s innovative handcrafted designs up close.

Later that day, a selected group of interior designers were invited to enjoy a private tour of the boutique followed by a celebratory dinner at the nearby restaurant Genesis House, with elevated Korean cuisine curated by Michelin-starred Onjium chefs. The table was decorated with cordless Kokeshi lamps and creations from The Guest collection.

The following evening, VIPs were invited to a cocktail reception and DJ set held at the boutique.

More than 140 guests including chef and fashion designer Peter Som, architect Jennifer Graham, art dealer and creative Jíbólú Ayodele, artist Martina Dietrich, fashion influencer CT Hedden, alongside interior designer friends, long time Lladró clientele, members of the Trade Commision of Spain, and the Spain-US Chamber of Commerce.

With its state-of-the-art virtual technology, visitors were given a unique insight into Lladró’s creative and handcraft processes. By using this technology, guests could see first-hand the amount of high technique, creativity, and attention to detail that goes into the making of each piece. This is an experience not to be missed for anyone who appreciates the beauty of handcrafted porcelain and the artistry that goes into creating it.

Lladró’s new concept store in New York presents an unparalleled opportunity to experience the brand’s combination of traditional craftsmanship and cutting-edge technology.
