LLADRÓ PARTICIPATES AT THE LAUNCH OF BMW i7 IN BANGALORE, INDIA

Lladró participated in BMW’s launch of its 7th generation and first ever BMW i7, a symbol of forwardism, in a special event in Bangalore, India.

Celebrating 70 years of revolutionizing porcelain and exploring its innovative creative possibilities, Lladró in collaboration with BMW curated some examples of art that embodies forwardism, just like the new BMW i7: impactful, and reflecting innovation and design.

To evoke the grille of the i7, at the event some of the most iconic designs inspired by nature from the Lladró catalog were present. Face 2 Face collection combines synthetized forms with a two-fold decorative treatment, speaking to us of duality and the complexity of opposites, with contemporary lines and design as the true focus. And the new addition to the Boldblue collection, the Koi fish which is a symbol of good luck with an extraordinary decorative quality. Klein blue is enhanced by a contrast with golden elements, and is notable for its movement and the energy it conveys.

Another inspiration by the animal kingdom as the new Animal Jewels were chosen to show the new car model’s uniqueness and power, through the striking combination of Art Deco porcelain, clean lines and elegant designs. Figures with a jewel-like spirit to reflect expressiveness and strength, giving rise to original contemporary creations handcrafted in porcelain.

While The Guest sculpture, the unmistakable character designed by Jaime Hayon, epitomized the future and the chance to explain all kinds of stories and prove how rewarding and fruitful the tandem between contemporary design and tradition is, as the new BMW i7 reflects.

This eclectic and avant garde artistic experience also included a culinary event designed with next-level style and substance like the new BMW i7, which took place at JW Marriott. The luxurious hotel in Bangalore hosted a sit down 7 course dinner curated by renowned Italian chef Matteo Arvonio. The cordless lamps from the Firefly collection illuminated the event as part of the decorations that adorned the guest tables. Inspired by the warm glow of fireflies on warm summer nights these portable lamps added a further touch of sophistication to each table.

The BMW Forwardism Weekend Getaway left attendees inspired and with a renewed sense of appreciation for both BMW’s and Lladró’s visionary approach to design, craftsmanship and artistic expression.
