LLADRÓ TAKES CENTRAL ROLE AT 2023 COUNTRY & TOWN INTERIORS AWARDS

Lladró has been chosen as the official award sponsor of 2023 Country & Town Interiors issue awards. Firefly lamps, in several decorative versions, were presented to the three special selections of this year in a ceremony hosted by the magazine.

The winners of 2023 edition were Naturalmat, Taylor Howes and Graphenstone Paints. They received a special Firefly wireless tabletop lamp. Inspired by the fascinating light emitted by fireflies on warm summer nights, with light autonomy and a rechargeable USB system, they evoke palm trees, cactuses, sunflowers or lotus flowers depending on the model. They are made entirely of glossy porcelain.

Naturalmat received this year’s Planet Award for their handcrafted organic beds, mattresses and bedding from sustainable and renewable materials. Community Award was for Taylor Howes, the international luxury interior design studio based in Knightsbridge, London. And the Collaborative Award 2023 was for Graphenstone Paints, the most advanced solution in the market for ecological and natural paints and coatings with graphene technology. They were chosen carefully by Country & Town House chief editor Carole Wannett, and judges Hazel Gardiner, from the well-known contemporary floral studio specialised in creating unique floral experiences; Jacu Strauss, creative director of Lore Group in London; and fashion and textiles designer Pearl Lowe.
