SPANISH PURE BREED

“Its muscular anatomy and rounded forms, its movements… make the Spanish horse a truly spectacular animal. Extremely expressive, it lifts its forelimbs in such a way that it seems as if it were dancing” Ernest Massuet, sculptor of Spanish horse.

Virtuos
-ity

Supporting the sculpture on only three legs was a true artistic challenge with high technical difficulty. Maintaining the proportions and the balance of the piece when undergoing the high temperatures in the kiln is a sign of the absolute control of porcelain by the masters at Lladró. The elegance, nobility and beauty of these horses are captured in this sculpture with great anatomical precision.
The deep blue and the gold, contrasting with the white of the horse’s coat, are the centerpieces of the exquisite decoration of this magnificent and elegant example of the pure Spanish breed. purchase
