Laprisamata
Luis Toledo, also known as Laprisamata, is the artist with whom we have created the first phygital artwork, Blue Desert. A new and revolutionary concept of digital and physical creations, luxury original gifts, born from our collaboration with this prestigious Spanish creator, who has become one of the main figures in the international scene in this field. Luis is a Madrid-based artist who, thanks to his unique style, has developed works for companies such as Warner Music or Atlantic Records. His work has been featured in prestigious magazines such as Juxtapoz, Hi-Fructose, or Kult Magazine, and his pieces have been exhibited in cities around the world such as New York, Berlin, Los Angeles, Amsterdam, or Singapore.
In Blue Desert, the skull is the common reference element on which Laprisamata projects his creative universe. At Lladró, we create the physical artwork, meticulously crafted by hand in porcelain, and Laprisamata expresses his personal vision and interprets it virtually through the composition of 70 digital illustrations, each unique and different, available in NFT format. Thus, traditional and the most contemporary and advanced media come together to develop new and surprising forms of artistic expression.
The Blue Desert skull is entirely made of handcrafted porcelain. For its decoration, Laprisamata has chosen dreamlike elements and ornamental patterns such as a starry sky inspired by Egyptian sarcophagi, a symbol of eternity, or the third eye, representing spirituality and vision beyond the material in Eastern cultures. Blue Desert consists of a limited edition of 70 units of the porcelain skull along with a unique NFT. Each NFT in the series is a visual piece in which the porcelain skull rotates through 70 completely different universes to be admired from all angles.
