Mokuren collection by Naoto Fukasawa continues its triumphant streak and keeps collecting international awards. This time, the chandelier has achieved a distinguished winning placement at the LIT Lighting Design Awards 2023.

Mokuren by Naoto Fukasawa is collecting success around the world. After being selected as Platinum Winner at the Grands Prix du Design in Canada and DNA Paris Design Awards 2023, it achieved a distinguished winning placement from Switzerland .

Mokuren chandelier is the end result of a collaboration between Lladró and the Japanese designer Naoto Fukasawa, who has always worked in the area straddling craft and design. For this particular work he took his inspiration from the striking beauty of the flowers of the white magnolia, one of the best-loved trees in Japan and a symbol of eternal bonds. The warm, inviting light that is emitted is filtered through the translucent porcelain of these delicate elements, each made by hand by Lladró’s expert artisans at its workshops in Valencia (kogei style). “The light of Mokuren accentuates its serene existence when lit. It is a pleasant soothing surprise”, explains the Japanese architect and designer.
