LLADRÓ AT CASACOR BOLIVIA

Lladró is currently showcasing its porcelain creations at CASACOR Bolivia. This prestigious event, one of the most important design events in Latin America, has served as the perfect platform to introduce the beauty and craftsmanship of Lladró to a discerning audience.

Adding to the significance of the occasion, a charity auction was organized in association with the Bolivian jewelry brand Eurochronos, featuring Lladró’s captivating porcelain creation Origami Panther. This unique masterpiece, its angular forms inspired by the Japanese art of paper folding, became a canvas for local artists Douglas Rivera, Mamami, Areli Ribero, Betzlalel and Keiko Gonzalez who each contributed their artistic talents to further enhance its allure. The collaborative efforts of these artists resulted in a one-of-a-kind fusion of creativity and porcelain artistry. Proceeds from the auction were donated to the Legión Cruceña de Lucha Contra el Cáncer.

The charity auction not only highlighted the artistic collaboration but also aimed to make a positive impact in the local community. Through the auction, Lladró and Eurochronos demonstrated their commitment to supporting charitable causes and promoting art as a catalyst for social change.

In addition to the auction, Lladró has its own dedicated space at CASACOR conceived by the architect Ana Victoria Sauto Roca where a variety of creations from different categories are exhibited.  Among them are the sublime Nightbloom lamps designed in collaboration with Marcel Wanders; the innovative wireless lamps from the Firefly collection; the striking animal sculptures of the Boldblue collection; The Guest, which since its creation by designer Jaime Hayon has become Lladró’s most recognizable and versatile character; and Hayon’s new creation Embraced, a playful sculpture of a figure whose long arms wrap around itself, symbolizing the importance of self-care.

CASACOR, the oldest and most prestigious exhibition of architecture, interior design and landscaping in South America, now has a home in 27 cities and has been held annually in Santa Cruz de la Sierra in Bolivia since 2013. Directed by Luis Alberto “Quito” Velasco and Graciela Anglarill, the event provides an immersive setting for guests to experience the beauty and elegance of Lladró porcelain. From the intricately designed pieces to the mesmerizing lighting creations, the exhibition captivated attendees, showcasing the timeless appeal and exquisite craftsmanship that Lladró is renowned for.

Lladró’s participation in CASACOR Bolivia and the charity auction exemplifies the brand’s dedication to promoting art, culture, and philanthropy in different countries around the world. These initiatives further strengthen the bond between the brand and its admirers, while fostering a sense of community and shared appreciation for the art of porcelain.

CASACOR Bolivia continues until July 1, 2023.
