LLADRÓ AT MAISON&OBJET 2024 PARIS
Lladró presented its standout collections for this season at the prestigious Maison&Objet trade show, in Paris – Nord Villepinte from January 18 to 22.
The Lladró space, divided into several mini-scenes where craftsmanship and new technologies coexist harmoniously, paid special attention to nature and biodiversity as the basic sources of life, and attendants could explore different categories of Lladró products through choreographed lighting.
Among the main novelties Lladró presented in Paris, and following the fantastic reception it got at Art Week Miami last December, is Art Editions, an artistic platform through which Lladró joins the contemporary art circuit with the creation of limited editions works in collaboration with leading international artists. At the fair, Lladró showed an artist proof of one of the You Choose One compositions created by Javier Calleja, the inaugural artist of this new project.
Lladró also unveiled Iguazu, its new lighting collection developed by the brand’s design team, inspired by different ecosystems and elements: swallows with raindrops, butterflies with bluebells or fish with bubbles, among other options.
Majestic Nights, another new collection for next Spring, comprises a holder with four plates, a candle, a cordless lamp and an incense diffuser conceived for celebrations around the dinner table or to create a warm, welcoming atmosphere. A play of lights and scents with the charm and mystery of an age-old culture, of refined, delicate and magical art.

Dialogue between porcelain and design was shown at the new figurative creations, like Underwater collection, White Rhino and Mummy Bear and Babies. An homage to life and the primeval element from which it came: water. Thanks to the use of unique decorative techniques, they convey the impression of being literally submerged underwater.
Eternal Fluidity collection speaks to the duality between permanence and constant change. Three creations made following the tradition of classical sculpture in which white matte porcelain enhances the impeccable modeling. In contrast, the decoration with silver luster that flows over the pieces captures an almost liquid sense of duality.

At the same time, and the result of its alliance with Disney, Lladró presented Minnie in Black and White, a contemporary vision of Mickey Mouse’s sweetheart.
Like all Lladró creations, the pieces presented at Maison&Objet 2024 are the result of a meticulous handcrafted process that takes place, from start to finish, at the brand’s headquarters in Valencia.
