GRAPHIC HUMOR
The Spanish artist Juan Díaz-Faes joins The Guest collection with three proposals defined by his signature visual language.
Known for his black-and-white patterns, Díaz-Faes transforms the silhouette of The Guest into a three-dimensional canvas for his unmistakable imagery. Through geometric shapes, fluid lines, and smiling faces, the artist from Oviedo creates a hypnotic, immersive effect. Each line seems to flow across the surface, as if the character were wrapped in a dynamic, vibrant skin.
Juan Díaz-Faes grew up drawing on paper and walls before studying Fine Arts at the University of Salamanca, Spain. He later completed a doctorate focused on the creative process, driven by his interest in understanding how ideas originate and where they come from. With a visual language that feels accessible and inviting, Díaz-Faes creates charming compositions and characters using geometric forms, lively lines, and energetic patterns.
