LLADRÓ BUBBLES AND MOON JEWELRY COLLECTIONS AT THE MERCEDES-BENZ FASHION WEEK
Isabel Sanchis, Valencian fashion designer, selected Lladró’s Bubbles and Moon jewelry collections to create stunning looks for her latest fall-winter collection. Lladró’s porcelain jewelry perfectly complemented Sanchis’ designs, creating a beautiful fusion of fashion and porcelain art. This collaboration was presented at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid (MBFWM), one of Spain’s most important fashion events, featuring top international designers and emerging talent. The event has been held for 76 years and enjoys great prestige in the fashion industry.
The Fall-Winter 2023/24 collection was designed to exude a seductive, strong, and powerful aesthetic, aimed to establish a creative dialogue between the garments and the viewer, allowing them to interpret and experience the sensations they provoke. The collection showcased a combination of traditional craftsmanship and cutting-edge techniques, with fabrics and shapes designed to create stunning and powerful pieces. Additionally, sculptural pieces were included that created a suspended, airy effect. Black was the main color, giving the designs an air of sophistication and charm, while also incorporating touches of green, orange, and brown to offer a hint of welcoming warmth.
Each jewelry collection features distinctive inspirations and designs. The Bubbles collection derives its inspiration from pearls and bubbles, creating a dynamic and playful world of spheres. This collection breathes new life into the classic pearl design, incorporating more modern, daring and sparkly elements. As a result, the Bubbles collection boasts a range of jewelry suitable for all types of styles and audiences, which simultaneously updates an all-time classic and makes it completely contemporary. In contrast, the Moon collection takes inspiration from the mystical symbol of the moon, the ancient Roman goddess of hunting and nature, Diana. The collection comprises a porcelain bracelet and pendant, each delicately crafted to capture the magic of the crescent moon.
